Teacher Inspiration
My Dear Student-Teachers,

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior                 teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”                                                                                      ~ William Arthur Ward

As teachers, we need to find ways to empower our students and the best way to do this is to provide unique learning experiences that engage students from the VERY beginning of a lesson and for that matter, get them curious to learn from the first day of school. If we are able to do this consistently and we get the children learn how to learn, nothing is going to narrow their mind. It is believed that an influence of teacher is everlasting, it affects till eternity.
Here is a small excerpt from "Within My Power" by Forest Witchcraft
One Hundred Years from now, It will not matter
what kind of car I drove, What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child.
So, as a teacher, you make a difference in life of your students. Always remember, you will not just be a teacher. You are so much more. You are a: Counselor - Confidant - Influencer - Preparer of minds - Future-shaper - Future changer - and much more. Realize your potential and believe in yourself in all situations. And when you start feeling that you are not doing anything productive in a classroom, an institution or the society and you find yourself overwhelmed, stressed out and just tired of it all, you may wonder if you're making any difference at all. Save this story for those times.

A man was walking down the beach one day and came across hundreds of tiny starfish that had washed up on shore. He immediately began to pick up as many as he could and throw them back in the ocean. He repeated this over and over, until another man walked up and asked him what he was doing.

"Isn't it obvious," said the man. "All these starfish will die if we don't get them back in the water. Please help me."

The second man replied, "What's the use, you'll never be able to get them all back in the water. So what difference does it make?"

The man bent down, picked up just one starfish, and tossing it back into the water said,
"It makes a difference to this one."

So, keep sharing your light and making a difference!!!

My Dear Student-Teachers,
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who make excuses and those who get results. An excuse person will find any excuse for why a job was not done, and a results person will find any reason why it can be done. Be a creator, not a reactor.
Because No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Begin doing what you want to do now. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand -- and melting like a snowflake.

My dear student teachers,
“Children can neither be bad nor good. They can be either. It is how they are brought up. Good teacher can bring out the best in every student. They are the one who can make a difference in the lives of their students. Rousing students from their apathy and watching their curiosity grow is one of the biggest rewards of teaching”.
