Internship is an essential part of the training for B.Ed. students. Traditionally, our students used to go to schools and conduct classes and activities as part of their internship. However, due to the pandemic this was not possible in this academic year. All the schools are conducting online classes and students are attending them sitting at home safe from the coronavirus. TSCER was able to successfully complete internship, even during this challenging time with support from reputed educational institutions like Thakur Vidya Mandir and Thakur Shyamnarayan High School. Our students conducted online classes, as per their pedagogy in these schools and were able to experience the world of online teaching. They were successful in all their endeavors by using various teaching and assessment tools. Special attention was given by TSCER to provide them awareness and training for the same. We thank our supporting institutions for their continual support in fulfilling the internship.
Students always need guidance from teachers irrespective of their age. So our B.Ed. Student teachers also need their guardian professors as guiding lights during their challenging times. With this view we have the concept of guardian groups in our college where we divide our students in different groups and faculty member is appointed for each group. Students are free to discuss about their queries and problems i.e. educational, personal both. Guardian in charge professor takes the follow up of each of their group member and helps them for smooth functioning of every aspects.
